With the 10th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select Stephon Gilmore, CB (South Carolina). Gillmore is a tremendous physical talent who opponents purposely stayed away from. He needs to polish his game, but plays smart, explosive football and could eventually develop into a very productive starter in the NFL.Extremely athletic, displays an outstanding burst of speed and plays with suddenness. Collapses from the outside to defend the run, works to get through blocks and make plays up the field. Flips his hips transitioning to run with opponents, possesses top-end speed and can burst out of his plant to defend the throw. Source: Sports Illustrated
well, we're not sure if they even had a willing trade partner and you shouldn't be upset about this pick. i think most teams had gilmore higher than kirkpatrick. i think it's a good pick.
You drafted McKelvin 4 years ago with #11 overall pick and his been a big bust. You never draft a CB that high unless he is a superior talnet (Revis, Peterson, Claiborne). Especially when you have no OT and your #2 WR is Donald Jone. They should of went with Floyd. He was by far the #2 WR in this draft. Gilmore is a no better corner than Kirkpatrick or Jenkins (who is still on the board). We might of lucked out because Johnathan Martin and Cordy Glenn are still there.
