With the 102nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Redskins select Mighigan St. QB Kirk Cousins. Cousins possesses the physical skills necessary to lead team at the next level if he corrects his fundamental flaws and improves his defensive reads. Strong pocket passer with the ability to make all the throws. Patient in the pocket, displays good awareness and remains poised throughout the action. Possesses the ability to make all the throws. Possesses a nice sense of knowing where his receivers are on the field.

apparently the skins don't like ANY of their current QB's and they're just starting from scratch

  5. it makes sense. To me Cousins is a backup type QB only. So they get their starting and backup QB. Why in the same draft when they have so many needs is beyond me.

They just signed Grossman to a year contract. No need to waste two picks on QB's in the same draft.
