The New England Patriots have agreed to a two-year deal with wide receiver Jabar Gaffney, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports. Financial terms were not disclosed. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound former second round pick out of Florida has caught 443 passes for 5,622 yards and 24 touchdowns during his 10-year career with the Houston Texans (2002-05), New England Patriots (2006-08), Denver Broncos (2009-10) and Washington Redskins, who released Gaffney on Tuesday. Though he's coming off a career season, a good chunk of Gaffney's production, including half of his touchdowns, has come when playing in offenses run by Josh McDaniels, who he will reunite with in Foxborough. Very durable for a 10-year WR. He's missed only 5 games in his career. Wish the Cowboys had signed him as a third WR.
