Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said he believes running back Darren McFadden can "absolutely" be a workhorse back this year and he will remain Oakland's lead running back in 2012 according to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News. The Raiders did nothing to shore up the running back position this offseason and the front office has indicated little to no concern about lingering effects of McFadden's 2011 Lisfranc sprain. "Here’s what I would say," said Allen. "Can he run the ball 25, 30 times? Absolutely. But I also think the running back position in this league, I think you have the ability to use different people. ... Does he have the ability to be the lead back? Absolutely and he will be." Well they should be concerned, if run dmc goes down our offense will just be ugly to watch. Bush was the only reason we weren't such a joke last year after he got injured.
