Browns QB Colt McCoy's Father's Comments Sealed His Fate With The Team

Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland reports that Colt McCoy’s fate as a former Browns starter was sealed when his father sounded off about the club’s handling of his concussion in the Pittsburgh game on Dec. 8. I was told at the time that Brad McCoy’s comments meant the end of McCoy in Cleveland, but I didn’t believe it then. The comments did not drive the pursuit of a new quarterback, but I believe they contributed to McCoy’s demise.

Bullcrap, they were moving away from McCoy regardless. I thought it was a bit too early, but time will tell.

 

Grossi is a freaking douche and trying to make himself look smart, failing once again. Didn't like him when he was with the PD and, whattya know, he's gotten worse after joining ESPN.

 

Colt is a good QB. He just needs time to mature into an NFL starter. Stupid move if they move him.

 

If Colt had a great season I dont think theyd give a **** about what his dad said. I dont think Mccoys that bad, just not that good.
