After it was widely reported that Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs would miss the 2012 season with a torn Achilles' tendon, the linebacker told the Carroll County Times that he expects to play by November. Suggs says he suffered a partial tear while doing a conditioning drill. It was previously reported by ESPN that Suggs hurt himself playing basketball. "I went to stop and turn and I thought I sprained it," Suggs wrote. "Went to doc and said it's a partial tear." When asked if he would play this season, Suggs wrote "Absolutely. Middle to end of October. Definitely beginning of November."

A partial tear can be worse a lot of times than a complete tear...

He won't be near as effective if he does make it back, not worried about Suggs this year.

Average NFL recovery from this injury is 11 months. Unless he starts kissing Wolverine he's got no shot.
