Bills Close To Giving RB Fred Jackson A Contract Extension?

    Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 Sports Radio believes that RB Fred Jackson and the Buffalo Bills are “very, very closeâ€￾ to a contract extension. General manager Buddy Nix has said previously that he will make sure that Jackson is taken care of. Jackson’s agent was asked about progress between him and the Bills regarding a contract extension and Jackson’s agent responded withâ€￾check back with me in a couple of days.â€￾ Buscaglia believes that this could be a sign that a deal between the two could be imminent, and if this is true I’m sure Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte, and Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice will be monitoring the situation closely, since both of them are looking for new deals as well.

    FJax deserves it. The guy has played hard...played amazing and is very low mileage for a RB his age.

    He was the best player are our team before the aquistion of Super Mario. The guy can do it all. Run, block and catch.
