Indiana coach Frank Vogel wasted no time on Thursday taking shots at the Miami Heat, claiming the Heat are "the biggest flopping team in the NBA."Led by Heat forwards Udonis Haslem and Shane Battier, the Heat drew the fourth-most charges in the NBA during the regular season, according to Hoopdata.com. Vogel took issue with the Heat's exaggeration of contact instead of choosing to make plays above the rim."Every drive to the basket, they have guys not making a play on the ball, but sliding in front of drivers," Vogel said. "Oftentimes, they're falling down even before contact is even being made. It'll be interesting to see how the series is officiated." Source: ESPN
Well the Heat do have the master flopper Shane Battier on that team, I'm sure he has been teaching lessons!
As happens with most coaches. I remember the Bulls-Pacers 1998 ECF, both Larry Bird and Phil Jackson were lobbying the refs after every single game, lol.
It's funny because I was saying the samething about the Heat last year. I read somewhere that Frank Vogel got fined $15,000 for this. $15,000 for telling the truth?
Its close between the heat and clippers. Chris Paul is a ridiculous flopper. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
I would say that the team with the most euros in the playoffs are the biggest floppers. And i believe that is the Nuggets 49ers n Lakers for life
