During a Monday appearance on NFL Network's "Total Access," Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said he would recommend free agent Donovan McNabb to another head coach looking for a veteran quarterback. "I tell them to take him," Reid said. "I still think he can play. I think the world of him, and we had some great years together here. I'm always wishing him the best and a fan of his. I got a chance to see him at Brian Dawkins' retirement (ceremony). He looks good. He looks physically good. He looks like he could go out and play tomorrow. I would highly recommend (him)." Andy also recommends teams pick up Cunningham, Jaworski, Detmer (either one), Mike McMahon, and AJ Feeley.
I personally think what Reid is doing is noble. McNabb and him had a lot of good years together... Why not say good things about and recommend him? That's the least Reid can do.
that's exactly what i was thinking. why does he care if some other team picks him up ............ the worse all the other teams are, the better the eagles look.
