Texans Exercising Caution With QB Matt Schaub

    The Houston Texans held quarterback Matt Schaub out of the team’s OTA’s, but head coach Gary Kubiak insisted that Schaub could be participating in them if they wanted him too. “Matt is fine,†Kubiak said. “Matt, to be honest with you, could probably do individuals, could do 7-on-7, but we’re just being smart. When you haven’t passed a physical, you’re not going to step on the field.†Schaub is coming off of a Lisfranc injury that cost him the remainder of the 2011 season. Rookie T.J. Yates has been taking some extra reps during OTA’s with Schaub on the sidelines, but the Texans should have Matt back under center for their upcoming training camp.

    Wonder how far the Texans would have gone last year with Matt....and Andre....and Mario...hell did I miss anyone?
