Jerry Sloan is ready to return to the NBA and has expressed interest in the open Charlotte Bobcats and Orlando Magic coaching positions. The former Utah Jazz coach, who resigned during the 2011 season after 23 seasons with the team, told the Salt Lake Tribune on Tuesday that he has talked to Bobcats owner Michael Jordan about his team's vacancy.Sloan will interview with Charlotte later this week, league sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard. The Bobcats also have permission from the Indiana Pacers to speak with assistant Brian Shaw and from the Los Angeles Lakers to speak with assistant coach Quin Snyder, the sources said. Shaw's interview will take place after the Pacers' season ends. The sources said Charlotte also will reach out to former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy. The team is not expected to make a hiring decision until after next week's draft lottery, at the earliest.

I dont see him going to the Bobcats. They're as pathetic as it gets. Orlando I can see. Theres alot of potential and talent there, it just needs to be harnessed properly

Orlando would be a good fit. Especially if that's enough to make Dwight stick around a little longer.

Not that I think it would.

I heard that Howard now wants out of Orlando. Wonder what it would take for the Mavs to get him?

I dont think anybody wants to go to the Bobcats right now. But I could see him doing a good job in Orlando

How crazy would that be though? Jordan and Sloan teaming up after Jordan butthecked Sloan's teams for a whole decade.

Bobcats need to be retracted honestly. Or better yet, move them to the NBDL
