Longtime NFL receiver Terrell Owens has been unceremoniously dumped by his Indoor Football League team, the Allen (Texas) Wranglers, reports Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com. Owner Jon Frankel told McMahon in a statement that Owens was waived because he violated his contract. Frankel cited Owens’ refusal to play in two upcoming road games that are critical to the Wranglers’ playoff hopes and Owens’ no-show for a scheduled appearance at a local children’s hospital as the breaking points in the team’s relationship with the receiver. “Our fans are amongst the best in the league, and it is impossible to maintain a player when even our fans notice and comment on a player’s lack of effort both on and off the field,†Frankel said. “We need to do what is best for this team, our fans and this community.†Owens had hoped that playing in the IFL might lead to another shot in the NFL, after he drew no interest during the 2011 season despite being second in league history in receiving yards and fourth in TD catches.

A lot of people are slamming him for reneging on his contract. And here I thought it couldn't get any worse for T.O. SMH

All he had to do was honor the contract he signed  apparently even that is too hard for him to do....and he wonders why no one trusts him to do the right things.
