Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs said he only has a "partial" tear of his Achilles' tendon, a detail which he said will help him get back on the field by November at the latest. That is probably overly optimistic. Players often say they will be back earlier than doctors allow. The Ravens seem to have a more realistic vision. "The Ravens for now are holding out hope Suggs can recover quickly and perhaps play in a reduced role as a pass rusher late in the season, taking the field only on passing downs," Don Banks of SI.com writes.
