Tampa Bay Rays reliever Joel Peralta has been suspended eight games for having a foreign substance on his glove during Tuesday's game against the Washington Nationals.Peralta is appealing the suspension.The right-hander entered Tuesday's game at the start of the eighth inning. But as he was warming up, the umpires gathered at the mound and examined his glove. An umpire walked with the glove off the field, and Peralta was ejected before throwing a pitch. Source: ESPN
