Broncos defensive lineman Ben Garland's grandparents fled their Colorado Springs home Tuesday as the Waldo Canyon Fire descended on their neighborhood, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports. They stayed with Ben in the Denver area. Together, they saw aerial photos of the subdivision that confirmed their home was one of 347 destroyed in the fire. "My grandma is absolutely devastated," Garland told Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post on Friday. Garland said his family lost many irreplaceable heirlooms, and Garland kept many of his own belongings at the home, all of which are now gone. Source: The Redzone
