The agent for Dallas Cowboys top pick Morris Claiborne said he didn't know if the cornerback would have his rookie deal in place before training camp begins on July 25. "I have no idea, don't know," Bus Cook told ESPN Dallas on Saturday. "I don't know. We'll see." Claiborne has yet to engage in contact or practice at full speed after undergoing wrist surgery following February's NFL Scouting Combine. The Cowboys are counting on the No. 6 overall pick to be a difference-maker on defense. Cook didn't offer details to what is holding up the contract, but NFL.com's Ian Rapoport has reported that offset language, which cuts down on money owed should a player be cut before the end of his rookie deal, has snarled many contracts of top picks. Only two top-10 picks have agreed on contracts.

Why would a top 10 pick be concerned with being cut during this season?? Or am I reading that wrong?
