Jim Harbaugh told CBS Sports' Rich Gannon that veteran receiver Randy Moss has proven to be a tremendous addition to the 49ers so far this offseason. Speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Gannon said that Harbaugh tabbed Moss as a culture-changer in the locker room and in team meetings as he's been a good influence on the Niners' other receivers, but that's not all. "He said, 'This offseason, he's been incredible.' He said 'He's been our best receiver right now,'" Gannon said, referring to what Harbaugh told him. Everyone is looking forward to training camp and the preseason to see how Moss shapes up after missing 2011 and tanking in 2010. He seems motivated to play well and re-establish himself. I need to check the schedule and see if the 9ers play the Pats this year. I want to watch the post game press conference if they do.
Rottstein week 15 in new England. Sunday night game. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
he is the best talent they have. But the others are better mentally than he is. Maybe he will have a lot to prove and shine this season.
Love Jimmy's rah rah/in your face style but he's delusional if he thinks this kind of motivation works on the likes of Randy, especially an older version. Worked for Ditka with his dents in his head in his prime but that was with old school players & even that got old fast.
no reason to think moss isnt motivated, he wanted to retire and he wanted to come back and not because hes broke....he worked his butt off the last two offseasons and hes attended the mini workouts....alex smith has to play decent to keep him THIS focused but hes there becasue he wants to be, and he wasnt given any guaranteed money
It d0es seem like Moss is going to have a young Moss season. Lord I hope he gets pissed and takes his foot off the pedal.
I actually don't think he's doing it to motivate Moss. I think he's saying it to motivate Crabtree...
