Tim Tebow hit wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on an 80 yard touchdown pass last January for an overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was the biggest play of Thomas' NFL career. While Thomas is excited about playing with new Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning he indicated it would've been nice to see Tebow remain as a backup in Denver rather than with his new team, the New York Jets, Nate Davis of USA Today reports. "Me and Tim, if you look at our stats, we had a great year together," Thomas said Tuesday night on NFL Network's NFL Total Access. "And I wish he would have stayed around so maybe he could have learned some things from Peyton. "But it's over with now, and we've got Peyton on our side, so I'm just looking forward to the season." Thomas was asked if Tebow would unseat Jets starting QB Mark Sanchez but didn't want to comment. "Tim's a worker, he's a great player," said Thomas. "(But) I can't say much about that because I really don't know." Source: The Redzone
he was at the show with Tebow and I doubt he wanted to speak the truth with him right there by him. Tebow could go Hulk on his butt.
