Eric LeGrand is the guest author this week for Peter King's Monday Morning quarterback column. LeGrand writes about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the ESPY's and his life as it is now. LeGrand writes that he think kickoffs in the NFL should return to the way they used to be, because lots of football players can make a career out of playing on special teams, and the new system takes some of the thrill and excitement of the game out. He says to take this from someone who has gotten injured on a kickoff

I agree that the kickoff needs to go back to the 30-yard line. I'm fed up with seeing kick returners neutralized by this lame rule change. Kick returns used to be one of the most exciting moments in a game. They were sometimes game changing moments, now not so much.

If a man paralyzed by the game wants to see things changed, listen. He KNOWs what he's talking about.
