Ndamukong Suh -- who was ejected for stomping on an opponent on national television and immediately tried to deny his actions, was ticketed for driving 91 m.p.h. in a 55 m.p.h. zone in the off-season and was accused of lying about the details of a separate car crash -- is preaching accountability. "Everybody has to be accountable for themselves, and obviously we as teammates need to hold each other to a higher standard," the Lions defensive tackle told Yahoo! Sports at a promotional appearance last week near Los Angeles. "And that's being addressed, and some of our teammates will have to deal with repercussions from the league, and I think they'll handle that the right way and move forward and not let it truly affect us during the season." Suh likely was speaking about the slew of off-season legal problems that have resulted in four of his young teammates being charged with alcohol or substance violations. When it came to his own erratic behavior, Suh said: "Things, I believe, always happen for a reason. At that particular moment, you're not gonna know what those reasons are. You look back and reflect on those (experiences) and take the positives and learn from the negatives and make the most of them." Source: Detroit Free Press
"Those guys better start being accountable. Me? That stuff happened for a reason that I can not see until I look back on it." Got it!
