After missing offseason workouts with an injury suffered in last year’s divisional-playoff win against the Saints, 49ers wide receiver Ted Ginn said he’s healthy for the start of training camp Thursday. Following a pre-training-camp practice with mostly rookies today, Ginn gave himself high marks. The 49ers listed Ginn with a knee injury before last season’s NFC Championship Game. Ginn said he was dealing with a “couple of injuries†in the offseason, but didn’t offer specifics. “This right here really was the test,†Ginn said. “(To) get here early and get with these young guys, run around … do certain things out there to see where I’m at. As I’ve been going, I can give myself an A+ right now.†Source: San Francisco Chronicle
Really happy they got Ginn back. He'll probably never live up to his draft spot, but hes got some crazy speed and nifty moves.
Plus you know the 49ers sure wish he didn't go down to the Saints. Asking so much of Kyle Williams sunk them in the NFC title game.
Hopefully he doesn't get hurt again . The team missed him terribly in the NFC Championship Game . GRRRRRR
