Adrian Peterson's goal for being ready for the start of training camp won't happen. He's been placed on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list, meaning that he cannot practice with the team. He's working his way back from a torn ACL and MCL suffered last Christmas Eve. Peterson is eligible to come off the list at any time before the regular season starts but will be forced to miss the first six games of the year if he's not taken off of it.
