    Fox Sports is reporting that the Orlando Magic have hired Jacque Vaughn to be their new head coach.

    I don't get it.. you're obviously about to reboot your entire team from top to bottom, so you sign a guy with little coaching experience to help you through that rebuilding phase? Sounds to me like they want a scapegoat while they suck for a few years.

    Pretty much. Why pay a ton of cash to a respected coach now? Once they build the roster back up, then hire a real coach.
