Dez had 900+ and would have gotten 1000 had he not gotten hurt. That's very good production from a second year WR.

Robinson feasted on single coverage all year. When one WR was hurt, teams would roll coverage to the other ans Witten. Robinson was on an island all year

He's good, but I don't think he's as good as the NFL Draft forecasters had him when he come out of OSU.

I'm tired of Dez acting like a knucklehead. Is that wrong? He had character issues coming out of OSU, and several NFL teams passed on him for that reason.
But, the Cowboys took him anyway. It's like Jerry is making up for not taking Moss when he had the chance back in the day.

What character issues did he have coming out of school?

Besides having dinner with Deon.

How many drug test did he fail while at oSU
Arrest while at OSU

Omen, have you ever asked yourself why 23 NFL teams passed on Dez Bryant in the NFL Draft before the Cowboys took him at #24?

Because 23 NFL teams didn't have a need or were mistaken?

Thank you drags

ragman you haven't answered my question, what character issues did he have, you are like the media hounds that sensationalized these so called issues yet had no proof except for the fact that he had dinner neon.

Your welcome, I would have taken Dez in a heartbeat if I needed a wide out that draft.

There are two facts that you stupid bananaheads need to just agree on:

1. Dez can ball.
2. Dez is a heckin' idiot.

Omen: All I know is that several teams took him off their draft boards because of character issues. There! Did that answer your question? Good grief!:icon_rolleyes:

Are you familiar with a publication called The Sporting News? It was established in 1886. Did you know that they had Dez Bryant as their #1 pick overall in the 2010 NFL Draft?

Also, I saw on The Dallas Morning News a chat session held by Rick Gosselin. He said that because of his current legal problems, the Cowboys would be very lucky if they got a third round draft pick for him.

Contrary to what you may think, Dez Bryant is not the Second Coming of Jerry Rice. Good player, but a knucklehead.

Nope you didn't answer my question but that's ok.

All those people are stating opinions conjectures no facts

I never said he was the second coming of Jerry

I dont know what a Sporting News mock draft or Rick Gosselins claims have to do with anything either.

Wouldn't that Sporting News article actually CONTRADICT your point?

Isn't your point that he's not worth it, but than your quoting that he was good enough to be thought of as a number one pick?

I am so confused.

Here are your facts, Omen.

Dez Bryant was ruled ineligible for the rest of the 2009 season on October 7 for violating an NCAA bylaw. He failed to fully disclose his interaction with Deion Sanders, a former NFL player, to the NCAA. He was considered the best receiver in 2009 and a possible Heisman contender before his suspension.

After his suspension, his stock fell like a stone. Why can't you understand that, Dragon?

TJ Dez Caught It

Dinner with Deion Sanders?!?! That bastard should've been banned for life, locked up and sent to the electric chair...we shouldn't allow these thugs to play in our sacred game.

Other players have sold drugs and killed people. But that's ok, really. Dinner with Prime Time...how is that possible?

I think his pro day gaffes had far more to do with his draft stock than a suspension for dinner with Deion.

Yup being suspended for having din din with prime time is a serious character flaw and issue.
