Two days after his 35th birthday, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was asked if he’s still hoping to play until he’s at least 40 years old, which he has said on multiple occasions. “I want to play a long time,†Brady said today. “The reality is we’re focused on this year, and there is no season other than this season that I’m worried about. We’ve got our work cut out for us. It will be a huge challenge.†Brady discussed how much he learned from former teammates Vinny Testaverde and Doug Flutie, who played for the Patriots after their 40th birthdays. Then he quipped, “I’m a long ways from 42. Hopefully I’m still talking to you guys when I’m 42.†Source: Boston Herald
