Former San Diego Chargers offensive tackle Marcus McNeill will retire according to his agent, and reported by UT-San Diego. McNeill played six seasons with the Chargers and made the Pro Bowl twice. McNeill was recovering from a neck injury which forced the Chargers to release him in March. McNeill was able to play only the first year of a five-year contract extension, worth $49 million deal, that he signed in October 2010. McNeill, drafted in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft out of Auburn, started and played in 82 games for his career. Source: Sports Illustrated
