Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil might get fined for a blow to the head in the Broncos preseason opener last night, Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post reports. Dumervil was flagged for a personal foul on the Broncos' second defensive snap of the game. Rushing from the defensive left on a second-and-9 situation, Dumervil was called for hitting quarterback Jason Campbell in the head. It cost the Broncos 15 yards and it likely will cost him some money as well. Players are routinely fined by the league for hits to the head on quarterbacks. Source: The Redzone
