The Jacksonville Jaguars released wide receiver Lee Evans on Sunday. Evans, who the Jaguars signed as a free agent in April, spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Bills before playing for the Ravens last year. Originally selected 13th overall by Buffalo in the 2004 draft, Evans has caught 381 passes for 6,008 yards and 43 touchdowns in 118 career games. During his time with the Bills, Evans had 1,000-yard receiving years in 2006 and 2008, but he had just four receptions for 74 yards in nine games for the Ravens last season. The Jaguars also waived/injured wide receiver Taylor Price and signed wide receiver Demetrius Williams and offensive lineman Josh Beekman Sunday.
