James Harrison has yet to practice with the Pittsburgh Steelers this summer. Irritation behind his ailing left knee could put his status for the beginning of the regular season in jeopardy. The Beaver County Times reported Tuesday that continued swelling in the knee could lead to arthroscopic surgery for the All-Pro linebacker. Harrison's agent, Bill Parise, believes the team will remove Harrison from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list in the next two weeks and see how the knee reacts. If swelling continues, Harrison will be shut down to undergo the procedure. "If it doesn't respond the way everybody wants it, that sounds like the alternative," Parise said. "We'd probably opt for that sooner than later."
