Saints interim coach Joe Vitt said Monday that running back Darren Sproles will not return to practice this week and is unlikely to play during Saturday's preseason game against Houston, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Sproles was held out of practice Monday, and reportedly could play through the issue if it were the regular season. He also did not suit up for last Friday's exhibition contest against Jacksonville.
