In a tweet sent from his retirement ceremony on Thursday, former Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis called Daniel Snyder the "best owner in sports," not football, sports, all of them. Portis could have said, "Dan Snyder is the tallest owner in the NFL" and it would have been a truer statement, not that Portis is the most impartial observer. Snyder thought enough of him to acquire him in a trade for an All-Pro and two first-round pick, then gave him a $50.5 million contract and publicly backed him in a fight against an inept head coach. And the locker rooms at Redskins Park are really, really nice. It's only natural he'd be fond of the team's owner, particularly after Snyder called him a "Hall of Fame running back" at that retirement ceremony. Source: USAToday
