In addition to cutting former Pro Bowl kicker Billy Cundiff today, the Ravens also released tight end Davon Drew and seven other players.

Drew, a former fifth-round draft pick, had lost ground as the third tight end to former St. Louis Rams starter Billy Bajema.

Meanwhile, the Ravens also cut center Cecil Newton, the brother of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, cornerback Jordan Mabin, long snapper Patrick Scales, quarterback Chester Stewart, wide receivers Patrick Williams and Devin Goda and offensive lineman Addison Lawrence.

The Ravens have until 4 p.m. Monday to make six more roster moves to get down to the NFL roster limit of 75 players.
