Near the end of the first hald of the Lions 27-24 victory over the Rams, receiver Titus Young got involved in a verbal joust with a couple of Rams players. One of them was rookie Janoris Jenkins, who Young head-butted, Chris McCosky of the Detroit New reports. "He didn't do a smart thing," coach Jim Schwartz said of Young. "We knew what was going to happen in some situations," Schwartz said, referring to some of the extra-curriculars of Jenkins and Finnegan. "He and a couple of guys were going back and forth, and the whole thing was right in front of me. It looked like he was going to do the right thing and walk away, but at the last second he turned and made a really dumb decision." Young was benched for the start of the third quarter.
