Jeremy Maclin was the only player who was in Sunday to miss practice today as he continues to recover from a hip pointer. Andy Reid says that he's getting better and has not ruled out Maclin for the weekend. "He's actually made progress here over the past couple of days," Reid told reporters. "That's a good thing. He's feeling better. I wouldn't list him as out today. That's not how I'd list him but he's not going to practice either." If Maclin can't go and maybe even if he can, newly re-signed Mardy Gilyard will dress on Sunday. Reid said the fact that he made plays for this team in preseason is why he got the call over other potential options. "You saw Mardy make plays. That's really what [it came down to]. He was really able to handle the X and Z positions mentally and then he went out and made plays. We're giving him an opportunity to come back here. We had a lot of tough cuts that we had to make and that was one of them when we had to let him go." Source: SBNation.com
