Chappell tweeted the update on Freeney from coach Chuck Pagano’s news conference on Friday. Freeney, 32, tied for 23rd on the NFL's all-time sack list with 102.5, suffered an ankle injury during a Week 1 loss against the Chicago Bears and had not practiced all week. (AP Photo) Vikings coach Leslie Frazier admitted to reporters during the week that Freeney’s absence would alter his team’s game plan. “To not have Dwight on the field, it would definitely change how offenses approach you,’’ Frazier said. “It would change how we would approach the Colts if he didn’t play. That’s just the way it is. He’s that dominant of a player, even at this stage of his career. He’s still a guy that can change the game.†Source: Sporting News
