Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow said the speculation about him demanding a trade “are about as about as true as the report I live in Hoboken,†reports the New York Post. For now, Tebow will remain in New York and as Mark Sanchez’s backup. Tebow’s debut in New York led to him carrying the ball five times for 11 yards in a victory over Buffalo. “I think he will be a good soldier,†an NFL source said. “At the end of the year, I think he will express those concerns to the Jets. He will want to move on. The one thing about Tebow is he is the quintessential team player. He would never do anything that is going to undermine the team. But he’s football-aholic. It’s in his blood.†Tebow was traded to the Jets in the offseason from the Denver Broncos, where he led the team to a division title and a playoff win. Source: Sports Illustrated
