San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith played every defensive snap against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night with stitches above his eye. Smith was cut during a serious car accident near his home Friday night, according to The Sacramento Bee. Alcohol was not involved. Smith was a passenger in a car that swerved to avoid a deer in Santa Clara County.
