The president of the New Jersey state senate wants an end to the NFL's officiating fiasco. According to NorthJersey.com, Stephen Sweeney plans to propose legislation prohibiting replacement officials at pro sporting events in his state. “This past weekend in the NFL has not only made a mockery of a great sport, but shined a very bright light on how important fully trained and professional officiating is to player safety,†Sweeney told NorthJersey.com. “We wouldn’t allow a factory or construction site to operate without fully trained supervisors on hand to ensure the safety of employees. Why should we do anything differently when the job site is a playing field?†Source: Sporting News
ha thats awesome but dont think its possible what other refs can they have with the real ones still in talks
basically they are saying if you want to have a game here you have to have a real ref. No ref= No game.
We'll find most fans would rather watch an awful NFL than something else. Jets and Giants can be traveling teams.
