Like the win but taking things a game at a time. OL didn't do bad tho not great. D was stellar. The long Briggs TD run just about killed him for the rest of the game...lol. Peanut is still one of my all-time favorites. Great to see Hester end the drought with an excellent diving catch. Cutler made some excellent reads/throws & minimized the stupid ones. Marshall is showing to be a steal so far/the missing WR we've longed for. Glad to see Forte but they left him in way too long IMO. Rushing him back too fast will throw this offense too far out of balance if we lose him again. Bush is doing good but he's no Forte. All in all, an enjoyable night...
wow, what a sloppy game by the cowboys. they didn't seem focused at all. the bears did a good job, taking advantage of a lackluster team and beat them soundly in all aspects of the game.
Yea, Cap'n Gettin' too amped up over this win would strike as being Bi-Polar. Like you said...'took advantage' of Cowboy mistakes, not necessarily caused them.
well, yes, while the bears didn't do anything to necessarily blow us away and they were able to take advantage of a sloppy opponent, what they DID was very workmanlike, very patient, and very focused............. which is what good teams are supposed to do, so that is a good sign for your team. So, on the one hand, what happened on the field should be tempered because of how horribly the cowboys played in the last 3 quarters but the Bears WERE pretty sharp in their execution and focus last night, so that is something to get excited about.
