Tony Romo seems to be regressing at the wrong time, he's coming off his best season as a pro and hoped to use 2012 to determine his market value for a contract extension because his current deal is up after next season. So far, he's playing hot potato not just with his potential contract money but his future with the Cowboys. With eight turnovers the past two games and five interceptions in Monday's 34-18 loss to the Bears, Romo has put the Cowboys season and any potential contract extension on notice. If he and the Cowboys don't turn it around, owner Jerry Jones may decide to go in another direction. Remember it was Jones who declared before the season that the window was closing on this group and they need play in 2012 with a sense of urgency to make a playoff run. Source: Sporting News
well, if he plays like crap the rest of the season, i'm sure he will screw himself, but i don't expect that.
Got to find the link. Not this year but next season. He was asked at a thing he was at at SMU and he deflected the question. Said he would rather answer a bounty question than answer that one. Didn't say no. That speaks volumes to me. Maybe I am reading too much into it but if he isn't interested just say no. http://bleacherreport.com/tb/d8BkP?...um=newsletter&utm_campaign=new-orleans-saints
I don't think Payton will go to Dallas. Not with the relationship he has with Brees in New Orleans. But, I could be wrong. I surely hope not. And it was only a matter of time before this topic came up about Romo damaging contract talks lol.
