Offensive line issues were not the only problems exposed for the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night in the loss at St. Louis.

Running back issues plague the club now also as coach Ken Whisenhunt announced today that Ryan Williams will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.

Williams, a second-round pick in 2011, missed his entire rookie season with a torn Achilles tendon. Now, he goes down after five games and Beanie Wells and LaRod Stephens-Howling have also been dealing with injuries.

Stephens-Howling I would assume. Plus a couple players off the street.

Saints should trade Ivory to them.

From 4-0 and then a pasting by the Rams and now Williams out for the season:tsk:. I really feel bad for this kid cuz he worked so hard after that Achilles tear last year.

In reality, it appears the Cards (Whiz) may be content with his current roster RB's of LaRod Stephens-Howling, William Powell and Alfonso Smith because they filled William's spot by bringing in CB Crezdon Butler. IMO this is a smart move because they could trade for Ivory, Chris Johnson or Arian Foster and they would be ineffective because it's apparent the O-Line is pathetic and cannot run block. If the O-Line could perform like they did in games 1 and 2, then this conversation is mute.....but they can't.

This really is a crushing blow to the Cards who will be very, very lucky to finish out the season at .500 or above. Williams will be back next year and hungrier than ever. Hopefully Beanie "I.R." Wells will not.
