The Houston Texans' fears have been realized in regard to the health of linebacker Brian Cushing. Citing a source who spoke to the player, NFL.com and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Cushing tore his anterior cruciate ligament in Monday night's 23-17 win over the New York Jets. Cushing will need surgery to repair the ACL tear, ending his 2012 season after five games. Texans coach Gary Kubiak confirmed the injury during his Tuesday press conference. Source: NFL.com
eh, i can never feel bad for cushing because he's a major d-bag but from a football perspective, this is a blow to the texans defense and may end up haunting them in january. stay tuned.
