Say a quarterback hurts a finger on his throwing hand. Bad news, right? “That’s very much a concern if that happens,†coach Jim Harbaugh answered. Well, Smith injured the middle finger on his right hand, and although it’s apparently only a sprained digit, he hasn’t attempted a pass since injuring it late in Sunday’s 45-3 rout of the Buffalo Bills. “We’ll see how it is,†Harbaugh said. “It’s well documented how tough he is. “He talks about it not being a big deal, so we’ll see.†Smith leads the NFL with a 108.8 passer rating. He has completed 68.6 percent of his passes (94-of-137) for 1,087 yards with eight touchdown passes and one interception. Source: Mercury News
I agree,..... Or it's no deal at all, just being over played to cause some confusion for what the Giants might face Sunday.
yep, the way they put his quotes together is misleading. he really didn't say it this way. harbaugh didn't express that much concern about it.
