So I've decided to try and write for Bleacher Report in their wrestling section. I've looked at some of their garbage and it's absolutely awful. I mean the whole website sucks but at some of it should be entertaining. I used to write a bunch in the day but not so much anymore but am picking it up again since I'm a stay at home. Trying to figure out an article to send in but have a few ideas of what to write about. Here's a couple. 1) 5 Stables That SHOULD Make A Comeback. 2) Top 5 Things WWE Can Do To Get Back On Top 3) 5 Things TNA Can Do To Stick It To Vince Any of those actually interest anyone? Anyone have any suggestions? I know I can write better than Justin LaBar or that Big Nasty tool. Taking some suggestions.
if ANY of those, go with the second. and if turning cena heel isn't your #1 thing, don't write anything at all.
I tried writing for the TNA area but I bombed it its hard to write a good column in 250 words I will resubmit a new application soon. The stables one could be fun.
at the site i was with before GIF, we had a writing team and a partnership with BR where some of our football articles would be linked to their site. BR is a good place for people to voice opinions and they were very supportive and helpful. However, we did used to joke that it's not really a writer's forum, it's a 'slideshow creators' forum. That's why so much of it is absolute garbage Duke. They are trying to appeal to the masses and when you're trying to do that, you have to dumb things down. as far as your topics, i'm not into wrestling but it sounds like you could make all 3 of them interesting for the readers.
I'm not a huge wrestling fan but reading some of the comments and threads here at GIF, #2 sticks out to me if the GIF comments are any indication of the "wrestling fan population." Good Luck with the writing!!
