Jets coach Rex Ryan has sent his latest message up I-95. Once again, he’s predicting a victory against the Patriots. “I want them to know, and they know, that I think we’re going to beat them,†Ryan said today at his news conference. “I don’t buy into all that other stuff. Look, I recognize that they’re a great football team. (Bill) Belichick is a great coach. I never once said that he wasn’t. Again, we’re not going to back down or concede to anything. They’re going to get our best shot. We know we’re going to get theirs, so it really doesn’t matter who says what. We are going to be ourselves. We’re coming up there to take our swing, and we’ll see if we land that punch to win a game.†Ryan also said he never stops thinking about the Patriots, who he referred to as “the dominant team†in the AFC East over the years. And since everyone in the division is 3-3, Ryan said it’s going to take all 16 games to claim the crown, which can’t be taken with one victory this week. But that didn’t stop Ryan from sending another message up to Gillette Stadium. Source: Boston Herald
Theres nothing wrong with beliving your team is going to win every week but I will say that drugs are bad Rex.
No, but there is something wrong with incessantly running your mouth about it to the media week in and week out, especially when youre consistently getting your butt handed to you on the field. All he's doing is turning himself and his team into a walking punchline. Shut your freaking mouth in public and string some wins together before you open it again. Keep the rah rah bullcrap in the locker room where it belongs.
