Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took the high road when asked Monday to respond to the taunts directed at him by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman after Sunday's game in Seattle. "He's a very good player and I have a lot of respect for that defense and certainly that secondary. They play very well together. My dad taught me at a young age to play with class and respect and give my opponents respect, and certainly I have a lot of respect for the Seahawks," Brady said during his weekly appearance on Dial Global Sports' Monday Night Football pregame show. Host Jim Gray then asked Brady if be thought Sherman was being respectful. "My dad also told me to worry about the things that I can control and certainly not worry about the things that I can't." Brady said. "And I really don't have feelings either way toward what someone may say or think." Sherman took to Twitter to boast after the Seahawks defeated the Patriots, 24-23. Sherman intercepted one of Brady's 58 pass attempts, and claimed there was talk between the two players on the field. Sherman met Brady on the field after the game briefly. Source: Boston Globe
haha. i love how he's trying to spin it now that he is 'too classy' to engage in trash talk when he is the one who allegedly started the trash talking on the field early in the game when the pats were winning.
Meh...Sherman is a nobody. So he lost in Seattle. Big deal. He goes home to his Supermodel wife, puts away his three Super Bowl rings, his 2 MVP trophies...lol. Tough life.
Who's Richard Sherman, oh yeah that's right nobody. Who's Tom Brady, one of the best QB's to ever play the game. Keep your freaking mouth shut you don't even have the right to lick Tom Bradys ball sack.

Of course you say that since the argument favors Brady. :icon_rolleyes: Brady talked crap first. And then didn't back it up. Talk all you want, Sherman. 'My dad told me to never do that, blah blah.' I'm usually a huge fan of Brady, but he got played here.
