While the Giants were away in San Francisco for Sunday’s game, multiple vehicles belonging to Giants players were burglarized and one was stolen from a parking lot at the Timex Performance Center in East Rutherford, N.J., which is where the team’s facility is. According to the report, the burglaries took place between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. Sunday in a lot that is run by a private security firm contracted by the Giants. The players park in this lot and then take a bus to the airport for road games. Police declined to reveal the identities of the players who had their vehicles burglarized. A 1996 Chevy Caprice was stolen. “Only in Jersey can someone be heartless enough to break into my car while we are in Cali making fans proud," offensive tackle James Brewer wrote on his Twitter account. That was my response too. I did feel a little guilty for laughing about it. But not much and not for long.:laughy32:
Oh I'm sure the loss of some iPods and air fresheners in their cars, and a $4000 Caprice on $20000 rims really stung for these multimillionaires. As far as who owned the Caprice...who on the Giants is from the south and black?
