Cowboys coach Jason Garrett isn’t giving up his play-calling duties right now. The subject came up again this week in the wake of the botched final 26 seconds at Baltimore, when the Cowboys ran only one extra play for one extra yard to get closer for a winning field goal try despite having a timeout. Offensive line coach Bill Callahan has play-calling experience, and Garrett said he is open to help. “Absolutely,†Garrett said at his Wednesday press conference. “We’ve discussed it in the past, and that’s always something. You handle the mechanics of who’s calling the plays and how we’re handling the different situations. We feel like this is the best way to do it right now.†Source: Star-Telegram
i didn't care for his play calling even before he had head coaching duties....... maybe if he relinquished play calling, he could focus on the big picture of how to fix them a little more?
