Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams is in the first season of a $100 million contract, but he still has issues with the way he left the Houston Texans.

Williams' contract made him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.

He will play the Texans for the first time on Sunday when the Bills come to Reliant Stadium.

"I didn't want to enter free agency in the first place, but it was a one-way door given to me by the GM to leave Houston, " Williams told Mark Berman of FOX 26 Sports in Houston. "I want the fans there to know entering free agency was not my decision."

Texans general manager Rick Smith declined comment for this story.

"I'm definitely excited about coming back to the place where it all began," Williams said. "I have the opportunity to play against the team that originally drafted me.

"The way things ended, I definitely feel like it was kind of a rough and all-of-the-sudden goodbye. There's some things that I'm definitely uneasy about, the final decision making that happened there. It was just the way it was handled.

"At the end of the day I'm just extremely excited to be able to be in this position and come back and play."

You were too expensive to keep and the defense proved that they can be successful without you.

So whose decision was it? Did the devil make you do it?

No need for you to try and clear the air with Texans' fans. Judging from their record and the play of J.J. Watt you're probably already forgotten in Houston. The Texans didn't want to be held hostage by your demands and it looks like they're a lot smarter than you are.

yep, this is a stupid comment by williams. he DID decide to enter free agency when he demanded so much money for his services.

if he REALLY wanted to stay in Houston forever, he would have given them a hometown deal and stayed for whatever they could afford.
