The NFL will not suspend Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall for the incident with an official that led to his ejection from last Sunday’s loss at Pittsburgh, according to two people with knowledge of the case. Hall will be fined and will receive a warning that further misconduct could lead to a suspension, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the league had made no official announcement about Hall’s penalty. The amount of the fine was not known Thursday. But Hall remains eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers at FedEx Field and subsequent games. Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said earlier Thursday he had no idea what the league would do in the Hall case. But Shanahan and Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett said in recent days they did not think the league would suspend Hall from this Sunday’s game so late in the week. Source: Washington Post
